Dotted gizzard shad 1kg

This is 1kg of exceptionally fresh konoshiro (dotted gizzard shad), hand-selected by Toyosu Market wholesalers in the early morning.

These konoshiro (15–20 cm, approx. 1 kg) are sourced from Tokyo and Kumamoto. Their fatty flesh is exquisite when prepared as su-jime (cured in vinegar, similar to kohada or shinko), or scored finely and grilled with salt or sesame oil for a savory delicacy.

*For the Kanto region, orders placed by 4:00 AM are generally shipped the same day. Please enjoy the freshness of direct delivery from Toyosu Market in your own home.
